Mr. Kidder will search the specific New York Juvenile Asylum ledgers listed on the “Types of Records Searched” page for information on the person or family you have identified. A “Family Discovery Search” will be provided for the flat fee. In addition, upon completion of the “Family Discovery Search,” Mr. Kidder will provide an estimate on the number of hours it would take to compile a “Detailed Family Report.”
There is no refund on the research flat fee if no records are found in the NYJA materials, but Mr. Kidder will provide (when applicable) information on other possible avenues of research at other archives, etc., that may hold additional pertinent information on the individual or family.
Orders for Mr. Kidder’s books typically ship within four business days.
